Meraloma Rugby
Come one, come all
Meraloma Rugby is recognized as one of the top clubs in BC and a distinguished history that dates back to the 1920s.
We offer rugby for all ages: mini rugby (ages 5-12), junior rugby (ages 13-18), men, women and over 40’s. Currently, our men’s teams compete in the BC Rugby Union’s elite Premier and first division leagues and regularly make the playoffs. Our women compete in both the first and second division league and also have a history of producing national team calibre athletes. The over 40’s compete in the Pacific Northwest League.
We offer rugby for all abilities from players training for representative teams to weekend warriors to newbies. What brings us all together is the love of our unique sport, the camaraderie and a magnificent clubhouse to call home. At the Meralomas, there is truly a place for everyone to play, have fun and meet some new friends.

Our history
Meraloma Rugby is recognized as one of the top clubs in British Columbia and has a distinguished history that dates back to the 1920's.
The club has lifted several championships in both men's and women's league play and is renowned for the camaraderie and community service that our membership provides. Many Meraloma members have represented Vancouver, BC and Canada in top level competitions and our programs have sent strong contingents to represent Canada at every Rugby World Cup to date.

Get involved
From September to April we play 15 -a-side men's and women’s rugby. From May to August we play casual touch and our club also competes in various summer seven-a-side tournaments.
We’re always looking for new players, no matter what level of experience they have. Visit meralomarugby.com to contact us and we’re happy to answer any questions. We welcome players from outside of Vancouver and our extensive alumni network can help with job placement in one of Canada's most vibrant cities.
