The Executive Committee.

Adult Player Member A member of 19 years of age or greater on the Sport Section start date who is actively participating as an athlete, coach, trainer, medical support, or manager in a sport of an approved sport section of the Meraloma Club.
Club TheMeraloma Club Society as incorporated under the BC Society Act
Director A member elected to govern the activities of the Club.
Executive The Directors, Officers, and each sports sections Vice-President.
Junior Player Member A member of less than 19 years of age on the Sport Section start date, who is actively participating as an athlete, coach, trainer, medical support, or manager in a sport of an approved sport section of the Meraloma Club. Members in this class have one vote at membership meetings provided that voting at such meetings shall only be by the parent or guardian of the Junior Playing Member on behalf of that Member.
Lifetime Member A person who has been approved for lifetime membership by the Executive Committee of the Club.
Member An Adult Player Member, a Junior Player Member and a Lifetime Member
Officer The person holding the following positions are Officers of the Club:
President;
Recording Secretary;
Treasurer;
Vice-President Facilities;
Vice-President Finance;
Vice-President Marketing and Communication;
Vice-President Membership; and
Past-president
Sport Section A sport section of the Meraloma Club that has been fully approved by the Executive Committee with voting privileges on the Executive Committee
Sport Section Treasurer The treasurer of a Sport Section.
Sport Section Vice-President The elected Vice-President of the Sport Section.

Thirty (30) days prior to the Annual General Meeting (AGM), the Club shall publish on its website the primary responsibilities of each Officer and Director and the Vice-Presidents of the Sport Sections.
Within thirty (30) days of the AGM, the Club shall publish on its website the name of every member of the Executive and an email address for every member of the Executive.
At least twelve weeks prior to the AGM the Executive shall nominate a Member as the Chair of Nominations.
The Chair of Nominations shall:
determine if a nomination committee should be formed;
form and chair any nomination committee that is formed;
collect information on each nominee for the role of Director
collect information on each nominee for a role as an Officer; and
ensure that there is at least one nomination for each position up for election at the AGM.
To be nominated for the position of Director, a Member must be in good standing for three consecutive years prior to the nomination.
To be nominated for an Officer position a Member must have been a member in good standing for a minimum of 12 consecutive months prior to the nomination.
At least 15 days prior to the AGM, each Sport Vice President will provide a list to the Chair of Nominations and the Vice-President Membership, including contact information, of all:
Adult Playing Members
Junior Playing Members; and
Social Members (the “Members List”)
At least 14 days prior to the AGM, the Sport Section Vice-President shall inform their Sport Section members of:
the date of the AGM;
the location of the AGM;
any vacant Director positions;
any vacant Officer positions, and
any materials regarding nominees for Director or Official that have been provided by the Chair of Nominations.
